the everyday experience of becoming ------------
I enjoy the presence that comes with making. Through creation or destruction, movement or stillness, something is activated. Embracing my inner self through outward expression allows strength to be found in my vulnerability.
I have learned that structure is produced by our identification with signifiers. This process of identifying and ingesting allows us to digest and become. I am intrigued by the imprints our interactions have on our bodies. When pain, pleasure, shame, and satisfaction are experienced, the reality of the body can change as the perception of the subject changes. These impressions do not define the body, but they shape the body.
My practice explores the body as a tool of expression. Even mundane actions embody our psychological processes. Social hierarchies shape identity through these lived dynamics. Through becoming aware of the performed nature of identity, its instability becomes apparent. We are a product of our past selves, environments, and interactions.

I graduated from Chelsea College of Art with a BA in Honours Fine Art. During this time, I developed my performance practice and cultivated myself and my music. I learned mostly through collaborating and talking with my tutors and my peers. This core idea of internal reflection is echoed in a collective sense by all of the experiences we share.
Collaborating with other creatives has been incredibly influential in my practice. I am currently updating the 'features' section of my site to include more documentation.
