Two people will be knocking on either side of the door.
The knocking will get progressively more intense
resulting in violence being directed at the door.
The door will not be in pain.
Both people knocking will be in pain.
The door will not be opened.
The knocking will cease when the people are bored.
They will exit separately.

The skin is a paradoxical symbol, in the way that it simultaneously separates and connects us to one another. Borders, walls, and doors have the same effect, they keep some close, while keeping others away. They are points of intersection between two or more entities.
“[T]he nation’s borders and defenses are like skin; they are soft, weak, porous and easily shaped or even bruised by the proximity of others. It suggests that the nation is made vulnerable to abuse by its very openness to others. […] Such attributes are of course gendered: the soft national body is a feminized body, which is ‘penetrated’ or ‘invaded’ by others." - Sara Ahmed, 2014
